Developing your business proposition
Once you’ve committed to working for yourself, you need to shift your attention externally and start putting together a robust business plan. This involves understanding who your target client or customer is and what their needs and desires are. It also means getting clear on the benefits that you’re providing and how you’re different to (and ideally better than!) your competition. And, of course, you’ll need to understand how you’re going to reach your clients with your message.
Develop a solid business model, value proposition and understanding of your ideal client that will fit with your individual personal and professional situation and deliver on your specific goals.
